Pizza on the BBQ – Yummy Tuesday

The temperatures have risen again, so cooking in the kitchen is less than appealing.  The solution is obviously BBQ, but I didn’t feel like typical BBQ, so I decided to BBQ pizza.

I have made dough from scratch in the past, but the time it takes to rise makes it harder to make during the week. I opted instead to for a pre-made crust.  A little red onion, chicken and cheese for me; everything in the fridge for Hubby. 2 min direct heat, 6-7 min indirect heat and voila.

Other methods include the basic at William Sonoma’s, Epicurious’s with caramelized onions and Gorgonzola or The Food Networks Rob Rainfords’s version.
