Kelly Green Shrug

The weather held out, a perfect cloudy day.

The Kelly Green Shrug for Zoe knit up super quick, and turned out great.  I was about 25 yards short on yarn, so made some minor alteration to the cuff and collar length.IMG_0311

The yarn is Impulse of Delight, from the Whistler Farmers Market.  The color is Sun Dapple and is amazing. The shades of Kelly green vary from dark to almost yellowish green, but shade so subtly, so no striping or pooling.  The pattern called for 16 sts / 24 rows gauge or a worsted weight yarn.  The Sun Dapple is sport, so I simply doubled up the yarn strand and got gauge.

I first saw them on the Happy Together sight, and the tutorial looks pretty easy.  Fingers crossed.
